To obtain the degree of Doctor, in addition to those established by university regulations, you must meet the following requirements:
a) Having approved all the credits in the manner established by this report.
b) The defense of the thesis to obtain the degree of Doctor will be carried out before a Jury appointed by the Academic Board, whose conformation will adhere to the provisions of article 78 of the General Postgraduate Regulations of the University of Guadalajara.
c) To obtain the degree, the student will have the term indicated in the Graduate Regulations of the University of Guadalajara, and only in exceptional cases, due to illness, accident or proven value of the contents and progress of the doctoral thesis, the Academic Board may request an extension of the term, which may not exceed one year.
Note 1: According to the current Call, as a desirable graduation requirement for Class 2021B-2024A, proof of English language proficiency must be presented, demonstrated with the TOEFL (from 400 to 500 points), Cambridge English (B-2), Aptis (B2), IELTS (7).
Note 2: Similarly, the publication of two articles will also be a desirable requirement, one in co-authorship with the tutor and the other in sole authorship.
