The "Horst Hartung Franz" Library or Central Library of the University Center of Art, Architecture and Design of the University is located on the Huentitán Campus, concentrates bibliography, hemerography and cartographic and digital documentation on topics related to art, architecture and design as areas of responsibility of the University Center of Art, Architecture and Design.
This library serves the students and teachers of the University Center's undergraduate and graduate educational programs and has spaces reserved for each graduate program, where specialized collections are concentrated, necessary to cover the curricular contents of each program. The space has an area of 912 square meters where various information services are offered such as:
- Electronic catalog,
- Attention to users,
- Parcel,
- Consultation,
- Reading area,
- Thesis consultation,
- Photocopies,
- INEGI Collection and Mapoteca,
- Consultation of periodical publications, etc.
The Library's collection is made up of 23,159 libros. The library also houses the special collections of the postgraduate programs Doctorate in City, Territory and Sustainability and Master in Processes and Graphic Expression in Urban Architectural Projection.
The Library was designed as a multifunctional space and can at the same time become an auditorium for conferences or exhibitions. The Postgraduate program has used this space on the series of conferences and workshop-seminars that it periodically organizes.
