Jesús Alberto Mendoza Vázquez is an architect graduated from the Benemérita Universidad de Guadalajara, with complementary studies in Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Málaga, Spain. He has more than thirteen years of experience in the development, coordination, and management of architectural projects in institutional, educational, residential, and interior design contexts.

He currently serves as Architectural Project Leader at UNITERRA (Universidad de Guadalajara’s University Real Estate Agency), where he coordinates the Project Workshop and leads interdisciplinary teams in the design, planning, and execution of strategic works across the university’s network of campuses.

His work at UNITERRA focuses on aligning institutional vision with architectural processes, promoting a design approach that responds to academic and social needs through sustainability, identity, and territorial relevance.

He is also co-founder of PMG Arquitectura + Construcción, a firm dedicated to the comprehensive development of architectural projects that combine design, technique, and constructive management.

Through this practice, he promotes a collaborative approach that values spatial quality and fosters dialogue between contemporary aesthetics and the real conditions of the environment.

His professional and academic work seeks to understand architectural and urban spaces from an interdisciplinary perspective, integrating processes of representation, collaborative design, and informed decision-making.

His current research focuses on liminal spaces within university edges and access areas, exploring them as sites of interaction between the university, the city, and the community.
