She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, a Master’s degree in Social Sciences, and a Master’s degree in Global Politics and Transpacific Studies. As part of her international academic training, she participated in the Government of Canada’s Emerging Leaders of the Americas Program (ELAP), through which she completed a research stay at the University of Saskatchewan. She also participated in an international summer program at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China.
She has 14 years of professional experience in the internationalization of higher education and 11 years of experience as a university professor. Throughout her career, she has undertaken teaching and research stays in Mexico, Bolivia, Canada, China, Colombia, Spain, and France, gaining extensive experience in international and multicultural academic environments.
She currently serves as Head of the Interinstitutional and International Relations Unit within the Internationalization Coordination Office at the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), where she contributes to the development and strengthening of international academic cooperation and partnerships. She is also currently pursuing a PhD in City, Territory and Sustainability.
