Graduate of the University of Guadalajara with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master in Architecture and Sustainability from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, a degree obtained in 2008 through the MAEC-AECID scholarship granted by the Government of Spain. Additionally, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban and Territorial Planning from the same institution, consolidating an academic background focused on sustainable urban development and territorial planning. He is currently pursuing a PhD in City, Territory, and Sustainability.
In the professional field, he has held strategic positions in public administration, actively contributing to the transformation of the metropolitan urban environment. He served as a technical team member at the Urban Planning Coordination of the Municipality of Guadalajara; Coordinator of the Greenways Program at the Ministry of Culture of Jalisco; and later as Director of Public Space and Head of Strategic Projects at the General Coordination of Comprehensive City Management in the Municipality of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, where he promoted urban recovery plans, mobility strategies, public space enhancement, and territorial resilience with a social perspective.
