PhD in City, Territory and Sustainability from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. His research focuses on urban visualities, graphic discourses, and material interventions in public space, examining their role in the relational construction of territorial identities, collective memory, and socio-spatial inequalities.
Situated at the intersection of urban studies, visual culture, social semiotics, and critical spatial theory, his work investigates how visual and material expressions participate in the production, negotiation, and contestation of urban meanings, particularly in contexts of territorial transformation, symbolic conflict, and spatial inequality.
Methodologically, he develops Graphic-Mediated GeoNarrativas (GMG), an approach integrating situated urban exploration, participatory walking practices, interviews, and multimodal visual analysis to examine the relationships between visual expressions, spatial experiences, and territorial meaning-making.
